Excursion plan
In the morning
1. Departure at 09.00 from Herceg Novi.
2. Arrival in Trebinje around 10:00 am. A tour of Crkvin, from where the view of the city and the Trebišnjica river expands, as well as Herzegovinian Gračanica with the mausoleum of the poet Jovan Dučić.
3. Then follows a visit to the Old Town. You will visit the Clock Tower, the Osman Pasha Mosque, the Kastel, the famous plane trees planted in the Austro-Hungarian era, the town square, and the Catholic cathedral.
4. Followed by a tour of the Tvrdoš Monastery with the church dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The long tradition of wine production, whose beginnings go back to the 15th century, is successfully maintained by the monastery today thanks to the restored vineyards. A wine tasting is planned in their wine cellar.
5. After the wine tasting, lunch is planned in the restaurant.
6. Return to Herceg Novi around 17:00.
