A trip to the southernmost fjord in Europe is an opportunity to explore all the uniqueness and natural beauty of the bay and get acquainted with its history, culture, architecture. On this excursion we connect two cities, Kotor and Budva, and the capital of the Illyrian civilization – Risan.
Excursion plan
1. Departure at 08.00 from Herceg Novi and continue along the Riviera to Cape Verige where there is a photo break. After the photo break we arrive in Risan, a small ancient town where we visit the archaeological site “Roman Mosaics” for 20 minutes.
2. This is followed by a tour of the old town of Kotor, which is surrounded by grandiose walls, intertwined with old cobblestone streets, with numerous museums, churches and palaces. A break for sightseeing of the city for 1.30 hours.
3. We continue our journey to the viewpoint above St. Stefan where you can enjoy the view of the city-hotel St. Stefan, a symbol of Montenegrin tourism.
4. Then follows a visit to the old town of Budva with numerous churches, museums, galleries, as well as shopping centers and various bars and cafes that create a unique and specific atmosphere.
5. Return to Herceg Novi via Tivat around 5:00 p.m.
