If you want to experience and feel the smell of the sea and the mountains in the same day, this excursion is made for you. One moment we are touring the bay, while the next moment we are in the interior of Montenegrin culture and tradition. During most of the trip, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the view of the Bay of Kotor, which makes this excursion unique. All you have to do is get comfortable and enjoy the moments that this excursion offers.
Excursion plan
1. Departure from Herceg Novi is planned at 8:00 a.m., and continues along the beautiful Bay of Kotor, followed by a short break of 30-45 minutes in Perast. In this small town you will be able to enjoy the view of two small islands, Sv. Marko and the Island of Our Lady of Škpjela.
2. After Perast, we continue our journey towards the interior of Montenegro, where we visit Lovćen National Park. In the small village of Njeguši, which has great importance in the history of our country, we will have a tasting of Njeguši specialties.
3. After the tasting, we will continue our journey to the mausoleum on Lovćen, where we will have a break lasting 1.30 hours for a tour of Njegoš’s mausoleum.
4. After visiting Njegoš’s mausoleum around 2:00 p.m., we arrive in Cetinje, the old capital of Montenegro, which represents the spiritual and cultural center of the country. Montenegrins will say – whoever hasn’t been to Cetinje, HAS NOT BEEN IN MONTENEGRO. Free time to visit the famous Cetinje monastery, which was the residence of Montenegrin statesmen, the court of King Nikola, whose exhibition offers visitors numerous testimonies about the life, habits and lifestyle of the Montenegrin royal family.
Return to Herceg Novi around 18:00.
